This pair of Brass 39mm Low Profile Fork Caps are machined from solid brass to fit a standard Harley 39mm front end. They feature a broached 1/2" hex for easy removal. No more stripped stock fork caps!

In addition these are half the height of the stock caps (see photo in the image gallery below). We had demand for this product specifically from customers with H-D 48's that have integrated risers in their top tree. The stock caps are too tall and don't allow for a handlebar with a wider base.

Lowbrow Customs is proud to be distributed in the U.S.A by Drag Specialties. Drag part # 0404-0284

Sportster 48 2012... Review by Dave
    Sportster 48 2012

    1. remove handle bar clamp (12-18 foot lbs) move bars out of the way and loosen the top triple tree clamps (30 - 35 ft lbs)

    2. Jack up the Bike to relieve some tension off the front fork springs . remove the fork caps (put tension on it as you back them out so they dont go flying)

    3. Put alot of pressure on the new brass fork caps with a giant allen socket. I used an Impact gun and had a buddy put alot of pressure down and slowly shot the caps in. (TQ check 22- 58 ft lbs)

sit back and enjoy. * brass is very soft and scratches easily be careful not to marr it (Posted on 9/19/2014)

Fit great. Sealed... Review by josh w
Fit great. Sealed great. Took a little elbow grease and patience to get the springs compressed and the cap threads started with Allen wrench set up. Use a socket! Thanks as always lowbrow (Posted on 2/4/2014)

I was having... Review by Ian
I was having problems with my keystone z-bars hitting the stock fork caps on sportster 48. Put these beauties on and now have no problems. Not to mention they look awesome. (Posted on 4/14/2015)

These look great,... Review by Jereko
These look great, match my other brass parts. It was kinda hard to find an allen big enough to fit these in my area, good excuse to buy new tools though. When you take your old caps off keep pressure on the cap or your springs will fly out like confetti! (Posted on 5/22/2014)

These fork caps... Review by Pell
These fork caps look awesome. I've been wanting to remove as much chrome as possible on my bike. These caps were the first brass components I installed and just continued from there. I love em.. (Posted on 6/25/2014)
