Version 2.0 of the Biltwell seat pivot! The Macho Negro ('cause it is tough and black) seat pivot features a cast head and chromoly body giving the ultimate in style and durability.
The Biltwell seat bracket is engineered to fit the mounting studs on most solo seats. It features two long slots for adjustability. Its rugged black electroplated finish looks great as is, or you can abrade the surface with a sandblaster or steel wool for custom painting. We left the accompanying pivot bracket unfinished so it can be welded to the backbone of your frame without special preparation. An Allen cap bolt threads into the opposite side of the bracket, creating an efficient and durable hinge pin.

Pros - This seat hinge is made with chopper quality in mind. Heavy duty. Show some class! Cons - Makes other seat hinges feel inadequate and flimsy. Seriously worth the ducks. You spent on the seat, don't scrimp on a loose hinge. Support good products. |
bobber128 - 01/30/2012
Pros - sturdy, well- made, looks great. Cons - None!!! Outstanding mount! This hinge rocks! It helped clean up my custom seat s ton! It is obviously sturdy. I expect it to take any abuse I send it's way! |
dustin e - 10/11/2011
Pros - cheap, strong Cons - none this hinge is gnarly, pretty sure my bike will crumble before this piece even shows a flaw! |
adam lonergan - 05/24/2011
Pros - perfict radius for triumph frames Cons - none Made for a nice neat finish and was able to mount my seat far enough forward to just about cover the hinge |
Stonehead Verne - 04/21/2011
Pros - Heavy Duty Construction Cons - none This ain't your daddy's seat hinge. |
Dan - 10/27/2010
Pros - Looks great. Sturdy. Well-built product. Cons - none Great seat bracket. Very sturdy. I have no concern about this one breaking. The only suggestion I have is to make a variation with a flat mounting surface. The radiused surface is great if you are mounting it to a tube, but my bike has a flat plate as a mounting point. More a criticism of my bike than anything. |
Bradley J. - 10/22/2010
Pros - Nicely made and does the job. Cons - None There are hinges out there that are complete garbage which surprises me cause it's such a basic part. I'd recommend this hinge. |
