Description

Say what!?! You can run your Triumph, BSA or Norton without a battery? Yes you can, save that your charging system is up to snuff, so if your rotor or stator is on it's last leg you better address your charging system first. You can run this Sparx Capacitor in line with a battery to help with starting, or as a backup for a dead battery, or you can remove your battery and this capacitor will provide the juice needed as you kick it through to run your bike. Without a battery your lights will only work with the bike running, as your rotor & stator produce the power for your lighting system.

This Sparx Capacitor is a replacement for the original Lucas 2MC part #54170009. Refer to the factory Triumph wiring diagram in the image gallery below.

Cons - I only bought two!

Nice solid spring mount. Terminals are labeled for pos. and neg. Lights work like a charm. If you can install a battery you can install this capacitor. Excellent product.

Cons - have to turn up the idle for the start of the ride

Works grear after bike has been running for ten mins I stalled it at a few lights bu just turn up the isle till it works good after that it is sweet
