Custom David Bird Triumph Unit Bolt On Hardtail Frame
|
Custom-made David Bird hardtails are now available! These bolt right up to your stock Triumph front frame section perfectly. These Triumph 500 c.c. / 650 c.c. / 750 c.c. unit hardtails are made from 1" x .125" wall crew tubing with 5/16" thick axle plates. Beautiful TIG welds, MIG welded axle plates. The ends of the hardtails are pressed flat and the mounting holes punched. Just what you need for that Triumph bobber or chopper build, you aren't going to find a nicer hard tail anywhere.
These are available with your choice of either the looped or straight rear frame rails at the axle (see pic below or click View Image Gallery to the left), and are available in 0", 2", 4", and 6" stretch. You can also choose 0", 1" or 2.5" of drop. The 2.5" drop is only available on the 4" and 6" stretch frames. Frames are made to accommodate a battery box or not, if you choose 'Add Base' the bends on the bottom rails will be pushed towards the rear so there is a flat base to mount your battery box.

This frame was a direct bolt on, everything lined up perfect no prying cutting or anything that I have experience with other frames. Worked great for my bobber project! A+
