If I keep the 21 up front what are the approximate gains on the highway? I'm thinking maybe 2-3 hundred revs?
A:
Generally speaking with a larger front and smaller rear that will give you more top end and reduce rpm at cruising speeds but I can not say exactly by how much . Additionally when going to a larger front smaller rear clearance needs to be checked , I am sure this has been discussed on internet motorcycle forums so you may try looking there to see if someone else has done this on your model bike and what the results were .
