Cycle Showcase 2017 - St. Louis

What comes to mind when you think, St. Louis? I always picture The Gateway Arch right away , and then I have heard the rumors from countless people about their amazing BBQ. You may have heard of a beer company called Budweiser, yeah they are there too. Well all those things are great but you know what is even cooler is St. Louis is home to a motorcycle and art show called Cycle Showcase, put together by the amazing Randy Noldge and extremely talented Shawn Long.

Shawn Long is from Imperial House Cycle & Paint, I've known him for a few years now but he has been friends with Tyler and Lowbrow Customs a lot longer. He hit us up a few months back to give us the heads up he was involved with a show and he asked if we would want to come check it out. Shawn told us he was inviting artists from all over the country to paint and exhibit talents on mediums other than the typical tanks and helmets most shows do. With the promise of a wide array of motorcycles, brilliant art and a really good time, we couldn't resist. So we headed down to check out the show and Shawn didn't lie, what an brilliant time.

Arriving early to the show we saw everyone pitching in a hand to set up the bikes on different layered stages. The show was split into 2 days. Friday was a bit calm, cold and dreary. It went on from 5pm-10pm. Still a ton of people rode out to enjoy the show. Saturday the show was from 10am to 5pm. It was a lot sunnier and warmer then the previous day. There was also a organized charity ride for Aiden Jack Saturday morning, it took everyone around St. Louis and showed off a handful of the city's bridges. As everyone rolled off for the ride, the envy set in a little not having a bike with me.

Some of the bikes outside were just as cool as the one's inside. Biggest thing I love about shows is there are more then just the show bikes to look at. St. Louis had a wide variety of bikes, styles and makes, which gives a real sense of the riding community there.

Cycle Showcase not only put together an amazing display of bikes and art with a charity ride and a great atmosphere to be apart of all weekend long but they also brought the American Motor Drone Company Wall of Death with free shows every hour. Talk about an adrenaline rush every single show. I found myself going back as much as I could to watch these guys perform something that is truly remarkable and special.

With so much entertainment through out the weekend and such an amazing show put together by Randy and Shawn, I guarantee you will have a ton of fun. Make sure to keep your eye out for next year's show and hopefully we will see you there.

Cheers!
