How does air filter affect bike performance?

Changing your motorcycle air cleaner is one of the best ways to improve the looks and the performance of your motorcycle. 

OEM manufacturers are required to meet a certain set of standards in order to get the permission from the EPA and other organizations to sell their bikes. This usually means that the manufactures have to do things that not only restrict performance, but oftentimes make the bike run much less efficiently. 

Changing your motorcycle air cleaner and installing an aftermarket motorcycle air filter can often wake your motorcycle up, improving both performance and gas milage. 

Advantages of Motorcycle Air Filter Pods

Motorcycle air filter pods are a very common choice among custom builders and performance gearheads alike. They are a great choice for a universal motorcycle air filter. They are very easy to install and they do a great job of allowing your engine to breathe.

Not to mention that they look pretty cool as well. Motorcycle air filter pods do not require any special housing. They simply mount directly to the intake of your carburetor via the hose clamp. The formed ribbed rubber flange helps create a good seal around the motorcycle carburetors. The screen covered media allows tons of air in, and keeps dirt and debris out.
