Waffled on buying this for a while. Did research on the many repro (rigid) tanks available. After buying the rigid frame version, I had to have the Swingarm version also. Made very well & definitely structurally more heavy duty than any repro. Buy one you won’t regret it!

Quality piece, you won't be disappointed
This oil tank is exactly what the doctor ordered... one of the last major hurdles on my panhead basketcase project. Fitment was perfect in the frame and workmanship on it is second to none. It definitely looks like it belongs. Love how the battery tray is integral to the design and the clutch cable screws into the front mounting bracket. One thing you do need to keep in mind is the paperwork included mentions cutting off the lower portion of the rear fender to clear the rear mounting bracket. No biggie for me but some guys may not like that... Super stoked I was able to catch this in stock. Hopefully not too much longer and I'll have oil lines made and this pan up and running after a 30 year slumber.... thanks for an amazing product!

Love the old-school and raw look of gasbox. Hope lowbrow continues to carry their products and also makes a sissy bar for the rogue fender!

Gasbox 65-77 oil tank
Workmanship on tank is second to none, will suit my “65” perfectly I’ve been watching Lowbrow for ages and when they became available again I jumped on it. Lowbrow thank you for the easy transaction, great website and great products from some awesome fab shops. Tank made it all the way to West Australia in tact and I knew where it was on the way down at all times Thanks heaps Stix.
Lowbrow + Gasbox = Happiness
Searching for ideas that might motivate me to finish a long stalled shovelhead project, I stumbled across some pictures of a very tasteful panhead. The oil tank the builder used caught my eye. A simple, but brilliant variation of the classic horseshoe. I discovered this motorcycle was built by Lowbrow Customs, a company that was new to me (I don’t get around much). I visited their website and found they offer a thoughtful collection of parts, including the Gasbox rubber mount oil tank I saw in the pictures. Motivation found. Ordering the tank was a breeze from checkout through email confirmation with tracking information. When it arrived, I was stunned by the amazing craftsmanship; worth every penny and then some. They say money cannot buy you happiness, but the irony is, in some cases it can!

Finally, someone thought of old guys and built an oil tank that makes sense. Hopefully the days of broken mounts and horseshoe tanks are behind me now with the advent of this tank. Got it in a timely manner and it looks like it was made by someone who knew how to fabricate for a harley,,, Heavy Duty.
