Great! Really a must for a total build up.
A savvy reviewer noted that when rebuilding a Triumph motor the cost to do a total clutch makeover is about the same as this kit, it's true! This Belt Primary is a great design, lighter than stock and offers a smooth and worry free way to go. READ the instructions carefully. I know us guys don't have that gene but it's a lifesaver in order to get it right the first time. Less rotational weight?? Love it. Zoom zoom. Lowbrow delivered FAST as always. Thx. I am all in on this Bob Newby Belt Drive Primary, thanks!

Not just a bolt in item!!
Make sure that you download the installation instructions and follow them to the tee. They say to use 6 washers on each of the stator studs. Mine only came with 15, 5 on each stud? It was enough to clear the pulley. Works great, much better clutch!

Bob Newby Clutch Unit
Hi guys.... My new Newby Clutch unit will be installed in my ‘66 T120R in the next few days. Clay Rathburn (formerly of Atom Bomb Cycles) installed a Newby unit in a street tracker build for me finished in 2017. The unit is bullet-proof! No sticking plates, no primary oil seeping, minimum adjustment and smoooth as can be. The build used a ‘73 T140 Triumph 5-speed engine with Trackmaster frame, etc., etc. I call it my Trackmaster “Blaster”. Increditable to ride and the Newby unit is gold! Todd has a photo of the bike! I’ll send a follow-up report on the unit in the ‘66. Thanks for all of your help..... Stay healthy! Mike Vollmer AUSTIN, TX
BNR belt drive
Can't wait to take this baby for a ride. Thank you lowbow!
good stuff
put one of these on a customer's tr6 chop last week, all fit as it should. doesn't include the longer 3rd stator bolt, but fortunately my boss is a Brit bike nut, so we had a few laying around. Also used this setup in a Royal Enfield 750 Interceptor a while back, with a custom tensioner, worked great in that bike too.
Bob Newby belt drive!
Very little little squeeze to disengage and shifts better also. Adjusting it is easy since you can run it with the cover off. It’s made for racing but it’s an improvement just for the road too.
