These JRC Carburetors are 30mm, and are a great alternative to Amal 930 carburetors or Mikuni carburetors. These are a direct bolt on replacement for your stock Amal, and will use your stock throttle cable. These feature a chrome slide for smoother operation and less wear, as well as an integrated choke lever on the body of the carburetor for easy starting. These are also known as PWK or Keihin carburetors, they are adapted for use on British motorcycles by JRC Engineering. These 30mm carbs are supplied with P26-140 main jets, which is like an Amal 230 main..

These 30mm models are great for your British twin cylinder motorcycle. For twin carburetor models such as Triumph Bonneville or BSA A65 you would want to use a P26-130, comparable to an Amal 190 main jet. For single carburetor bikes like the Triumph TR6 Tiger, you would want to use a P26-140 main let, comparable to an Amal 230 main jet. This would also work great on your BSA B40 or B50. We have a wide arrange of jets available from the equivalent of an Amal 170 - 240 in stock.

You can find installation instructions and a parts list for JRC Flatside Carburetors here.

    Sold Individually.

trim is poor on... Review by darren burkett
trim is poor on part had to file down casting does bolt up to manifold as long as you grind down stud and nut on one side of carb no instructions included so get ready to spend hours finding them yourself on internet (Posted on 10/6/2013)

I have a Friends 68... Review by DubleClutch From Country Road Cycles.
I have a Friends 68 T100 bobber that he wanted to put a better carb on cause the Amel carb was worn out! It was sticking at WOT and what a ride when that happens!! So I got P26-140 and put in on and WOW what a differance it made. Better throttle responce threw all gears and all it needed was a slite tweeking with the air/fuel and set the Idle. I am in the middle of a 69 650 Bonnie hardtail build and I am going to run the carbs on it. TON UP MAN TON UP!!!! (Posted on 5/20/2010)

I swapped my 1970... Review by Dan Tracy
I swapped my 1970 Bonneville head with a TR6 single carb head, installed the PWK/JRC carb and surprisingly I did not have to tune. The carb jets are spot on. Kudos to Lowbrow for their expertise.

I put a pair of these on my 71' Bonnie as a replacement for the leaky worn out Amal MK1's and was very pleased with the resault. Smooth idle, crisp responce and a real choke. Throttle cables adapt fine but fuel line size and routing will be different. Jetting crossover was spot on for my stock bike. (Posted on 3/11/2011)

This is my second... Review by Michael Baker
This is my second JRC and the first one was such a breeze to tune, decided to get another for my next Triumph. Jetted the second one and got it dialed in without too much hassle.. and I am a lousy mechanic.. more like a monkey with wrenches. I read a lot of reviews by some old Triumph guys who hate these, but I don't know why, they work for me. (Posted on 1/30/2012)

Bought one for a 1956 Super Meteor Review by Hubie
Had to modify a nut and stud due to minimal clearance on the left side of the carb to attach to to the flange, but once done, bike runs superb. Easy starting, no flat spotting, idles great. Cannot complain about this carb at all. (Posted on 3/18/2016)
