The switch itself is excellent - simple and clean, and with three positions allowing me to start w/o lights since I run a small battery. My switches mounted to a steel bracket on the side of the bike, though, and I have had real trouble with the somewhat crappy mounting hardware standing up to real world vibration and use (even tried blue and red loctite). Unfortunately the thread is for a 3/4 inch panel nut, so expect to shell out double (or more) the price of the switch on two its if you want to upgrade from the hardware that comes with it. Likes said - love the switch, but if you aren't using it in a standard mounting location and you're running something that gets a little vibration going, expect to need to upgrade the mounting hardware.

This is a great modern interpretation of the switch I've had on my Triumph for almost 20 years. This new one seems just as well made and durable as my old one and I fell sure it will last just as long AND it is more than reasonable priced.

I was looking for a clean, cheap, and "older looking" key switch for my XS650; this switch all of the above and much more. Great product!
