STATORS AND ALTERNATOR KITS

Replacement stators cover the full Harley-Davidson alternator production span from 1981 through 2017, with direct-fit units for Evo Big Twins, FLH and FLT touring models, Dyna, Softail, and Sportster applications. The CE-8999 for 1989 to 1999 Evo Big Twins and the CE-8012 for 2006 to 2016 FLH and FLT are among the most reviewed stators in the collection.

Complete alternator kits bundle a stator with a Cycle Electric rectifying regulator for a full system replacement. The CE-84T-99 kit for 1999 to 2003 FLH and FLT upgrades the system to 50 amp three-phase output, producing 32 amps at 1000 RPM and 50 amps at 2500 RPM. Kits marked with an "R" suffix include a Cycle Electric-built rotor; kits without the "R" use the factory Harley-Davidson rotor.

RECTIFYING REGULATORS

Stand-alone regulators are available for every Harley-Davidson platform from 1976 Big Twins through 2016 liquid-cooled FLH and FLT models, covering Sportster, Dyna, Softail, and Touring in platform and year-specific part numbers.

12-VOLT GENERATORS

For pre-alternator Harley-Davidson motorcycles, Cycle Electric makes 12-volt generator conversions covering 1936 to 1984 Big Twins. The DGV-5000L for 1965 to 1984 is the most reviewed Cycle Electric product in the catalog. Blacked-out and LeBeef polished versions are stocked for show-quality builds.
