Motorcycle Exhaust Heat Shields

Motorcycle exhaust shields are an easy and effective way to protect your leg, or your passenger's leg, from excessive heat from your motorcycle's exhaust. The cast aluminum heat shields from Lowbrow Customs clamp to your exhaust pipe using hidden mounts, and install in minutes. Heat shields are available in many styles, in chrome, aluminum or black finishes, and in different lengths (such as 6" and 12" versions) that can suite a variety of exhausts. Motorcycle exhaust heat shields are typically most useful on Shotgun Exhaust Pipes or any motorcycle that is running exhaust pipes that are high up along the bike. Heat shields will work with different diameter exhaust pipes, including 1-3/4 inch (as found on most Harley-Davidson motorcycles and many others) and 1-1/2 inch diameter (as found on most vintage British and Japanese bikes, like Triumph, BSA, Honda and Yamaha) exhausts. They can be run individually as needed, or in pairs, depending on the style of exhaust and where the rider and passenger's legs are in relation to the exhaust pipes.
