These custom caps look great. Is there a risk of them being stolen?
Like any small, custom accessory, theft is a possibility. The best prevention is to tighten them firmly by hand (don't use tools). For most riders, the small risk is worth the unique custom detail.
Will metal caps (like brass or aluminum) corrode or seize onto my rubber/metal valve stems?
It's possible for different metals to have a slight reaction over time (galvanic corrosion). To prevent this, simply apply a tiny dab of anti-seize compound or grease to the valve stem threads before installation. This ensures they'll always come off easily.
Will heavier custom caps, like solid brass ones, affect my wheel balance?
No. The weight of a valve stem cap is negligible and located very close to the center of rotation, so it will not have any noticeable effect on your wheel balance, even at high speeds.
