Perfect fit for ‘97 sporty

Purchased this fender to install on my 99' Sportster Custom with the factory 21" front wheel. The fender did not fit. The struts missed the fork mount holes by about half an inch with the fender sitting directly on the tire. Overall the fender is a nice piece and should work well for a project provided its not a 21" wheel. The metal is on the rough side so it will require some sanding and priming to get it ready to prep for paint. The fender is made in Taiwan.
