Our 39mm Narrow Triple Tree Kit has everything you need to make that Harley narrowglide front end nice and skinny. Included are top and bottom 6061 billet aluminum triple trees, a 1" diameter steering stem, a chrome-plated custom stem nut, a stubby, 3/4" diameter OEM-style axle for running a spool wheel of your choice and the necessary pinch bolt hardware. The center-to-center spacing of the fork tubes is 6", which we find is the perfect blend of narrow style and usability; we don't want you having trouble with clearance between your tire or wheel and lower fork legs! Any spool wheel with a hub 3-3/4" wide or narrower will work.
IMPORTANT NOTES
- Because these triple trees are 1" narrower than stock, you must use a front spool wheel with a hub that is 3-3/4" wide, or narrower. A wider hub will not work properly for this application while using stock lower legs.
- There is not enough clearance to run a front brake due to the width of these triple trees.
The top tree has handlebar riser mounting holes spaced 3-1/2" on center. The stem is a super-easy install as it is a slip fit with a pinch bolt to secure it top and bottom; no need to use a hydraulic press to install it. The upper and lower tree have matching pinch bolts for the fork tubes, which slide in place with ease.
The bottom tree has a counterbored mount for a headlight, which makes the install a breeze and allows for a flush-mounted allen head bolt thanks to the counterbore. The bottom tree is designed for an internal fork stop kit (not included), the end result being a super clean and simple look.
If installing on a stock Sportster frame, use SKU 015220 Pro One Internal Fork Stop Kit, and also be sure to pick up a 016521 Steering Stem 1/8" Thick Spacing Washer as you will need it for proper installation (watch the 39mm Narrow Triple Trees Install Video on YouTube for more details).
