By popular request we now offer the fender struts that we designed for the Rogue Fender as a separate item for universal use. This set of two, beautifully chrome-plated, heavy-duty steel fender struts fit Harley-Davidson stock frames from 1958-1984 without any modifciation to your stock frame. You can use these fender struts to mount a fender of your choice to your Panhead or Shovelhead. By the nature of the design the fender needs to have flat sides. The Rogue Fender Struts are 6-3/4" inside dimension when mounted to a frame. Hardware included, set includes two chrome fender struts. Please note that Rogue Rear Fender Struts bolt directly to your stock frame, but not to a stock fender. They are intended for mounting a custom fender to your motorcycle, basic fabrication skills are required.
Approx 12.75 inches long.

will these struts work on a mid 70s stock sportster frame
A:
Sorry I have not had the opportunity to try them on an ironhead Sportster frame , they are designed for the big twins so I can say for sure they are not going to just bolt right on but with metal anything may be possible so if you can cut weld and drill, it may be possible to use them.
