      Overall quality is great! Love the double sealing lip. its a solid upgrade to my current super nut after my 4 speed rebuild. Onlu gripe is mine didnt come with the o-ring. easy enough fix

      Duo-seal super nut for H-D FX

      So far so good. Takes time to really evaluate wheather or not this will work over the long term. This should be sold with a stop leak spacer for the tranny that was a design flaw by HD . The combination of both products would be awesome!!

      The product is really nice. The packaging is not. The large o-ring is stretched ocer the nut in 1 side & vacuum sealed that way. That o-ring is useless & should not have happened. I thought about sendung it back but I found an o-ring NOT stretched out. So, we're good.

      I used one of these on my Psycho'78 build and recommend them. To clear up a few things that other reviewers posted. First, you can use some red sticky grease on the o-ring to keep it in place. Second, this isn't an alternative to the 'saddlebagrail' o-ring spacer. This nut addresses mainshaft leaks (where the shaft exits the main gear). If you have a later main gear with an o-ring on the end, this will add a second o-ring on the mainshaft as 'insurance'. If you have an early style (i.e. Panhead) main gear without any o-ring in the main gear, this will put one outboard of the gear. This has nothing to do with the 'saddlebagrail' spacer. Speaking of that 'saddlebagrail' spacer (which I recommend), it fixes leaking main gear bearings (behind the sprocket) not a leaking mainshaft. If you're running a 77-up 4spd and need to replace your main gear because it's damaged or has a damaged bushing, Andrews sells a replacement gear with an o-ring/groove machined into it as a better alternative to the 'saddlebagrail' spacer which is finicky to install. This isn't available for 76-older transmissions though, so the spacer from Ray is your best bet. Hope this helps. Keep 'em leak free and don't forget to fill 'em with Redline Shockproof Heavy oil.

      I also used O ring...

      I also used O ring spacer seal available from saddlebagrail. Theirs a product that LowBrow should carry on its site. the O ring spacer is quality and it works, the nut was an added security. don't know if I would trust the nut by itself.
