Damn! Rolled past the bar again! If you are looking for significantly more stopping power, you should consider replacing your classic drum brake system with a disc brake.
After extensive 3D simulations on the computer and countless test kilometers on any terrain, we can now rightly claim that this brake meets our high requirements.
Modern Stopping Power: This kit replaces your outdated drum brake with a high-performance disc brake system, featuring a powerful dual-piston caliper for a significant improvement in braking.
Engineered & Tested: Developed after extensive 3D computer simulations and countless test kilometers on all terrains, this brake system is designed to meet the highest performance requirements.
Specific Vintage Fitment: Designed to convert I-Beam and Classic Springer forks on 1930-1949 Big Twin, 1941-1958 WLC, and Servi-Car models that use a Star hub.
Complete Conversion Kit: Includes a dual-piston caliper with pads, caliper bracket, 10-inch disc rotor, brake anchor, wheel hub adapter, and all the small parts necessary for assembly. Brake lines and master cylinder are not included.
System Requirements: For proper operation, this kit requires a 12mm master cylinder and is for use with a 17.5mm wheel axle.
NOTE:
- For use with 12 mm master cylinders! Brake lines attach with 3/8” mm banjos.
- Can be used with either DOT4 or DOT5 brake fluid. However, DOT4 and DOT5 must not mixed, due to being chemically not compatible. One should always stay with the same brake fluid type.
