Great generator at a great price. Very easy to follow the small amount of instructions for installation. Cleans up the appearance of the bike not having all the wires and mechanical voltage regulator hanging off the side. Charges great just like it should.

Plug and play on my 62' FLH. Directions are a little odd from Cycle Electric but once on the generator/regulator combo is on, it provides a steady electrical output. Also, Cycle Electric honors their 2-year warranty - I've sent back a generator to them in the past, and at no cost to me, I received one that looked and worked like brand new.

USA quality can't be beat
1st bought from another seller a VT 32-0787 generator. Big mistake, looked shiny but Taiwan junk! Brand new out of the box and it didn't work. Called supplier and was told "send it back you just got a bad one". I bought the Cycle Electric DGV-5000L from Lowbrow and received super fast shipping (came in 2 days). Packaged well with clear proper English instructions. Installed on my 1937 UL and works perfect with good output even at low idle. The only modification I had to do was space my foot rocker clutch mount about 1/8" out (couple of flat washers) from frame mount to clear end of generator. Very happy.
