So easy it installed itself. The directions are simple but you can basically do without. Find TDC on compression stroke and no need to remove timing plug.

Problem was isolated to the ignition. Installed the new part and fixed. Ignition modules are not made exactly the same, still have to re-static time.

United StatesDyna S Dual-Fire for a Shovelhead with a Kicker
I previously had a dual-fire Dyna S in my Shovel. With the motor rebuild this was swapped for an S&S single fire system. The shock came later. The single-fire is almost incapable of a Single kick start. The motor has to rotate twice to fire up. With an electric starter this works fine. Since it is a tradition that a Shovel has a kicker and this should be used, I'm forced to return to the dual-fire Dyna S.
