MEET THE HARLEY YOU MAY HAVE NEVER KNOWN YOU WANTED
Do the prices, and the condition of, Harley Shovelheads and Panheads (let alone Knuckleheads) get you down? Wish you had a big twin Harley chopper but without having to sell everything you own to do so? Well, we have a solution for you!
Enter... Evo Softails!
Wait... what?
The best selling Harley-Davidson of all time is the Sportster (and they are an excellent bike and platform for a Sportster chopper), but the best selling Big Twin Harley of all time is the Softail.

The Before (top) and After (bottom) of the 1994 Lowbrow Softail Shop Bike. The 'after' is not finished, it is still in-progress, but the transformation is drastic!
From 1984 to 1999 Harley made and sold tens of thousands of Softails with the reliable big twin Evolution engine. And now that it is well into the 21st century, there are loads of those bikes sitting in garages, well kept, some only lightly ridden, that are ready to be put back to work!
That means you can get a reliable, garage-kept, clean Big Twin Harley for a few thousand dollars (!!!) with just a bit of searching.
Check out our video below to learn why we are so pumped up on Evo Softails!
WHAT PARTS WERE USED FOR BUILDING THIS BIKE?
In addition to removing a bunch of unneeded stock parts, all the new custom parts on this build came from Lowbrow Customs. Click here for the parts being used to build the 1994 Lowbrow Shop Softail.

Here at Lowbrow we have been working on some parts (such as our Softail Mounting Kit for WX Gas Tanks) to help you easily transform that Softail into a killer custom bike, or full-blown chopper.
From easy bolt-on parts to a ground-up build with the help of a Gasbox Big Twin Harley Rigid Full Frame, the Softail gives you a ton of options.
In this video, Tyler shows off our 1994 Softail shop bike and discusses some of our latest parts, others that are in development now, and the many paths you can take when building your own Softail chopper!
BEFORE & AFTER: HARLEY SOFTAIL CHOPPER PHOTOS
This 1984 Softail build by LNSPLTBLVD using a Gasbox Full Frame is a great example of what you can do with a donor bike and a rigid frame. Check out the video series of this full bike build here!
Before (top) and After (bottom) of Mikey's 1993 Harley Softail build, which is in progress. He used the drivetrain from the stock Softail in a Gasbox +3" up Big Twin Full Rigid Frame.
You can check out his Project Studd Build Diary blog post for more info, and see all the parts that he is using on the build here.
