Cycle Standard Bobbed Gas Tank - 1982 - 2003 Harley-Davidson Sportsters - 2.3 Gallon

I’m in the process of building a bobber, utilizing a 2008 FXSTC Softail. Although this tank is recommended for a Sportster, I found the CF tank would sit low on the backbone of the my Softail frame. There is more than enough width in the center cut-out to allow the tank to slip over the backbone and allow space to hide wiring connections.
I did have to perform some modifications to the mounting tabs and install a Sportster EFI plate to the bottom of the tank. The tank is tall and wide enough to accommodate the installation of the HD #75268-07F fuel pump.

I also need complement the service i received when I originally started to look at tanks for this project.
Todd went above and beyond and confirmed that the EFI plate and tank would allow enough room for the pump.
