CHROME BOLTS AND FASTENERS BY TYPE

Colony chrome bolts are sold in packs of 10, covering the most common thread sizes used across Harley-Davidson and custom builds:

• Button Head Allen Bolts: The most commonly specified chrome bolt on custom builds. Button head profile sits low and reads clean on fender mounts, primary covers, and visible frame hardware. Available in 1/4-20, 5/16-18, 5/16-24, 3/8-16, and 7/16-14 thread sizes across a range of lengths. Chrome and polished chrome finishes available depending on the application.

• Socket Head Allen Bolts: A taller head profile than the button head, with a deeper allen socket for more torque on higher-load fastener points. Chrome and polished chrome available in sizes from 1/4-20 through 3/8-16 and beyond.

• Flat Head Allen Bolts: Counter-sunk profile for applications where the bolt needs to sit flush with or below the mating surface. Chrome plated in 5/16-18 and 3/8-16 thread sizes across multiple lengths.

• Hex Head Bolts: Chrome hex head motorcycle bolts in 5/16-18 and 3/8-16 for applications where a wrench is required rather than an allen key. Available in packs of 10 across standard lengths.

• Chrome Pike Nuts, Acorn Nuts, and Nylock Locknuts: Finishing nuts in chrome for exposed fastener points. Pike nuts in 1/4-20, 5/16-18, and 3/8-16. Chrome acorn nuts for engine and primary hardware. Nylon insert locknuts for vibration-prone locations where a standard nut will back off under load.
